Watkins Glen State Park Gorge Re-Opening in May
The Gorge trail, home of all 19 waterfalls, is closed for the season and is anticipated to reopen mid to late May 2025.

Effective July 7, 2025, the main tunnel entrance and Sentry Bridge at the beginning of the Gorge Trail will be closed due to construction. Access to the South Rim Trail will also be closed at the main entrance but remain accessible from all other entry points during construction. We anticipate being fully open for the summer of 2026.
